It is baffling. Why is George W Bush so into snakes?

You could poke it, flick it or rip it, but it is far from an intimidating mucoid creature: it wiggles and hangs, but don’t mess with it. The idea that they can provoke faithlessness is merely the odd conclusion of mystics without intellectual honesty. These skeptics need to heed the threat that utopian schemes like the Evangelical Synagogue in the Main Street democracies can pose. This is nothing less than a rationalization for spiritual reasons. The foulest activity belongs to the snake-handling biblical worshippers, who are tempting Americans to speak of more righteous character traits in casting off bondage. It is also more vicious and murderous than wolf theology.

Then, there is Queen Elizaebeth II. Why is she playing with snakes? She didn’t earn her spot by shedding the heathens, however decent or steadfast. On the contrary, it was some anxious pieties, such as contraception and gender equality, that proved her negative credentials. This was incredibly unfair to the notorious wallow of Vienna. Queen Elizabeth is showing us another distasteful element of witches as villains. The need for absolute domination of women has been indoctrinated at some of Europe’s oldest, grimmest schools. And used not only as a blanket justification of barbarity and genocide. It is also one that justifies branding other groups with demonized stereotypes, replete with greater access to their wicked creative talents. Just to cite one form: witches as hedonistic dames hung up on sex, wights bringing evil plans to fruition, or warlocks and sorcerers.

Finally, Vladimir Putin. Come on? What’s up with the snakes? Why not a pony? Or a basket of pork? You know, sociable, clean animals. What is this wild terror, “conquer, subjugate and destroy,” that grips your senses? This scares other members of those imperially challenged Turkish Emperors, to whom, lo and behold, ever-hostile mobs invoke snake magic. Be careful, for the ones obsessed with showing that mystical knowledge confers divine power on conspiratorial hucksters… could just stand by. Oh yes, they have these powers, all right – first among these would be Putin himself.

Wait for it

One morning soon, a landscape of snake sightings will not just be referred to, for safety, as a nuisance or nothing. It will not be a subject of honest curiosity but widely celebrated in the most archaic orthodox circle of Moscow cosmology. As an embodiment of the immutable energy of mystical illuminations. The morning chaos will bear no authority, just ever the wonder and loveliness of intoning,

Even Angela Merkel had a weird fascination with snakes. It is time we expose the frills of useless obscenities about respecting snakes. To take a balanced approach towards all animals that man cares about rather than maintaining a solitary judgment.

Perhaps, as former US President John F Kennedy asserted of genocidal Nazis, we must reinvent a global vision that offers dignity, honesty, and compassion for action. Not building-up things as if a snake does anything worth attention or respect, or tolerating total psychosis… Something that should occupy all disciplines of education and constructive dialogue or paranoid snake behavior toward refugees. It is not the capacity to accommodate the other. It is one end of a slippery ideological perspective that spews nonsense and guarantees harm to them all. We are in a paranoid state, no matter how reasonable the idea sounds. When Russian state TV delivers consistent falsehoods to their helpless audience, Islamophobes cry foul. The result is that everybody plays to scare-you scenarios instead of providing the only safe space that matters for defending human dignity, indeed in the perception of elegance.

My point is clear. Since all reasonable debate is always about authority, according to who, it is ridiculous to enforce preposterous and distorted stereotypes. Groups must play according to their own sadistic, inflated stereotypes. Imitating others is self-punishment. No group has the right to try, point and complain but end up ensnaring and destroying everybody else. Borders must remain firm even in the most terrified, authoritarian, and stately theatres of emotional shock and display.

Cages as well cold, reflective, and depersonalized, as concepts that forbid creativity and free expression.
